Outside of a rough Game 7 in the Western Conference Semifinals against Dallas last year, it was a very memorable season for the Suns, going an NBA-best 64-18 after reaching the NBA Finals the previous season. Now, they will look to put it all together once again for a deeper run into the playoffs. With Monty Williams back for his fifth year as coach, he will have DeAndre Ayton back under a new contract, and Devin Booker also got a max extension. Some minor changes were made, but veteran Chris Paul returns along with Mikal Bridges, and NBA Sixth Man of the Year Cameron Johnson is expected to slide into the starting lineup as this core gets another shot to win the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
