Wells Fargo Center Event Planning Guide

Catering

Philadelphia Flyers luxury suites can be fully catered for your Flyers game. Catering at the Wells Fargo Center is provided by Aramark. Prior to the game, guests pre-order their food and alcohol at their own discretion. On average, most people spend $75-$100 per person. There is no minimum.

Parking and Transportation

Flyers suite rentals can include VIP parking. We recommend using Gate A or Gate F to access the VIP parking lots. The VIP Reserved Lot is Lot H. Lot H will be closest to the Flyers VIP Suite Entrance. Other recommended lots to use for closest entry into the Wells Fargo Center are Lots C, D and E.

Budget

Philadelphia Flyers suite rentals are paid for at the time of purchase and cost between $3,000-$6,500 on average. Remember to include catering costs as well, which won't occur until the day of the game. Additional costs may include Flyers parking passes, Flyers souvenirs and any in-suite purchases.

Club Access

Those with a Philadelphia Flyers suite ticket have access to the Cadillac Grille, a private restaurant/lounge located on the Club Suite Level. Flyers suite ticket holders can also access the Cure Insurance Club. Cure features local dining options, including Chickie & Pete's and Campos Cheesesteaks.

Dress Code

There is no dress at the Wells Fargo Center for guests in a Flyers luxury suite. Business casual is most common but ultimately, we recommend dressing based on the purpose of the event. Flyers fan gear like jerseys, shirts and hats are perfectly acceptable. We recommend comfortable shoes as well.

Venue Bag Policy

Wells Fargo Center utilizes walk-through metal detectors for all Philadelphia Flyers games. Any purses, brief cases, luggage, roller bags, hard-sided bags larger than 14” X 14” X 6” and all backpacks will not be allowed into the Wells Fargo Center. Permitted bags are to be soft sided.

Entrances

For Philadelphia Flyers games, gates will open 90 minutes prior to the game. If you have a Flyers luxury suite ticket, we recommend using the VIP entrance at the Wells Fargo Center by Parking Lot H near the Broad Street Entrance. However, any entrance into the arena is fine to use.

Child Ticket Policy

Children under 2 years old do not require a ticket for a Philadelphia Flyers game. Those under two will be required to sit on a lap of a paying customer. Any child 2 years or older will require a separate ticket for entry, including when in a Flyers suite. There is no age requirement in suites.

Flyers Spotlight

Current NHL Season

There’s reason to believe that brighter days are ahead for the Philadelphia Flyers after hiring head coach John Tortorella. Torts has had success everywhere he’s gone, including winning a Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay, taking the New York Rangers to the Cup Final, and turning Columbus into a playoff contender. Tortorella will likely improve the defense, and scoring was addressed with the acquisition of Tony DeAngelo from Carolina, who led defensemen last year with 20 points on the power play. Having Kevin Hayes healthy should also help the front line. Expect a return to gritty, hard-hitting play this year from the Flyers.

All luxury suites at the Wells Fargo Center hold from 12-18 fans and come with four parking passes and a dedicated suite entrance. Once inside, you have access to customizable food and beverage options, a private restroom, and a personal suite... MORE

Past Spotlights

The concept sounds simple enough: allow fewer goals, win more games. The Flyers will be out to prove that last season was an anomaly when they allowed an NHL high 3.52 goals per games while their goaltenders posted an NHL worst .895 save percentage. Carter Hart could solve a major part of that problem by returning to his 2019-20 form when he was a top ten netminder in the league in terms of goals against average. Captain Claude Giroux returns for his 15th season and joined by Sean Couturier and Travis Konecny. The Flyers added firepower to their forward group with Cam Atkinson from Columbus and Derick Brassard from Arizona. Atkinson is just three seasons removed from scoring a career-best 41 goals as part of the Blue Jackets. A Center City Club Membership puts you in the Wells Fargo Center’s most in-demand seats. In addition to access to the views from center ice, you’ll receive access to the members-only club, and all-inclusive food and beverages. For a top-shelf experience at a more affordable rate, Revolutionary Row provides an upscale modern bar and entertainment space which serves locally-sourced food and drink. Luxury at its finest comes in the form of a suite rental. Enjoy a customizable food and beverage package catered in-suite with a personal attendant available throughout your unforgettable evening.

New head coach Alain Vigneault has won everywhere he’s been, and Flyers fans are hoping that trend continues in the City of Brotherly Love. The success for this season may depend on goaltending. After rotating through eight men at the position last year, prospect Carter Hart will get his chance, along with Brian Elliott in a reserve role.

Kevin Hayes (via free agency) and Matt Niskanen (via trade with Washington) were the big offseason acquisitions, while Oskar Lindblom will look to capitalize on his strong end-of-season run a year ago (13 goals in the last 36 games).

The Wells Fargo Center, home of the Flyers since 1996, just finished the fourth of a five-year, $265 million renovation. A 4K Kinetic scoreboard above the rink is the largest addition. The board has pieces that can move, along with the ability to feature pyrotechnic and smoke effects.

The Center City Club is also new for 2019-20. It’s an exclusive area for center-ice and other premium ticket holders. The 7,400-square foot area features a show kitchen and two 50-foot bars. This is all in addition to the nearly 100 traditional luxury suites (that hold 12, 24, or 50 people) in the venue, giving you plenty of options for a first-class experience at Flyers games this season.
