Charlotte Hornets Health & Safety Protocols

The Charlotte Hornets cannot wait to have fans back for home games at Spectrum Center.  There will be a number of new health and safety protocols at Spectrum Center introduced this year that guests will need to abide by when attending a Hornets game.  For more information regarding the Spectrum Center's Health and Safety policy, please reach out to your SEG representative.

Spectrum Center Event Planning Guide

Charlotte Hornets luxury suites will not include food or beverage with the suite rental but in-suite catering can be arranged in advance. Hornets suite guests can pre-order off the Spectrum Center suite menu in advance to your game. There is no minimum. On average, most spend around $80 per person.

Parking and Transportation

Every Charlotte Hornets suite will include a limited number of VIP parking passes. Each pass will be clearly labeled with the lot associated to it. All Charlotte Hornets suite parking will be in lots closest to the Spectrum Center. Cash lots surround the arena all within a 15 minute walk to it.

Budget

Charlotte Hornets luxury suite rentals cost between $4,000-$8,000 on average. The price of a Hornets luxury box varies in cost based on the opponent, size of your group, suite location and day of the week. Food and beverage will be additional and you won't be charged for it until game day.

Dress Code

There is no dress code when attending a Charlotte Hornets game in a luxury box. If it's a corporate event, most guests will be in business casual attire. However, it's most common to see Hornets suite guests in team-branded apparel and casual clothing. Comfortable shoes are recommended.

Venue Bag Policy

Entrances

All doors at the Spectrum Center open one hour prior to tip-off for Charlotte Hornets games. Charlotte Hornets luxury suite ticket holders have dedicated private entrances highlighted at each entry point into the Spectrum Center including at the Trade Street Entrance and Fifth Street Entrance.

Child Ticket Policy

Any child who have reached their 2nd birthday must have a ticket to enter the Spectrum Center. This applies to Charlotte Hornets luxury suites also. Any child under the age of 2 are allowed free admission provided they sit on the lap of a parent or guardian without blocking the view of other guests.

The Charlotte Hornets are pushing to get to the next level, and after reaching the Play-In round of the postseason the last two years, they are calling upon a familiar face to get solidly into the playoffs. After he helped Orlando reach the playoffs in 2019 and ’20, Steve Clifford left the Magic after a disagreement with the front office’s philosophy, and now he’s back in Charlotte. Center Mark Williams, drafted out of nearby Duke, and re-signing Cody Martin for his defense will provide Clifford with two players who fit his coaching style, and they will complement LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier. A healthy Gordon Hayward will also provide a veteran presence that has helped the club the past two years.

The buzz surrounding this nest of budding stars grows louder entering the new season. The Hornets hit big time in the draft as Lamelo Ball was the runaway winner of the Rookie of the Year Award following a stellar first season. The ballhandling wizard looks to improve on his impressive numbers of more than 15 points, six assists, five rebounds, and nearly two steals a game. As Ball gets better so does his favorite alley-oop target, Miles Bridges, who could be one of the league’s breakout stars as he enters his fourth season. Gordon Heyward and Terry Rozier provide strong support cast help, and the addition of center Mason Plumlee, who played his college ball in the state of North Carolina, could bolster the defense in the paint. When it comes to spectating at the Spectrum Center, it starts with a one-of-a-kind, first-class hospitality experience that are the Royal Box seats. With a major splash in free agency and a potential Rookie of the Year candidate, the 2020-21 Charlotte Hornets have their eyes set on the postseason. The Hornets signed All-Star Gordon Hayward to a long-term deal, giving the Hornets the superstar player they have been missing. In the 2020 NBA Draft, the Hornets selected LaMelo Ball who will be a cornerstone for this franchise for years to come. PJ Washington, Devonte’ Graham and Miles Bridges continue to improve, giving the Hornets a solid young core to build from. Veterans like Cody Zeller, Terry Rozier and Bismack Biyombo help fill out this improving roster. Head coach, James Borrego, is out to break the streak of four consecutive years missing the playoffs.

For Hornets basketball, there is a wide variety of premium seating and experiences for you to enjoy at the Spectrum Center.
