Golden Knights Spotlight

Current NHL Season

The Vegas Golden Knights once again have high hopes after a late-season stumble cost them a playoff spot a year ago. New coach Bruce Cassidy will look to take the team back to the postseason after missing out for the first time in franchise history in 2022. Goaltender will be a spot to watch, as injuries to Robin Lehner and Laurent Brossoit has led Logan Thompson and Adin Hill to compete for time in net. Jack Eichel will play his first full season with Vegas, and he should gel well with veterans Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson, and Reilly Smith. Veteran Phil Kessel also joins the bunch to help improve a power play that ranked just 25th in the league a year ago.

Past Spotlights

Just months after matching the Avalanche for best regular season record, the Golden Knights expectations for 2021-22 soared to sky-high levels following an unexpected late acquisition. Vegas landed hockey’s highly-sought after wonderkid, Jack Eichel. The 25-year-old, who has already net 139 goals in his NHL career, likely won’t be making his debut in a Vegas jersey until after the calendar turns to 2022 though as immediately underwent artificial disk replacement surgery in his neck. In the interim, the top line of Max Pacioretty, Chandler Stephenson, and captain Mark Stone will carry the offense. Jonathan Marchessault and Reilly Smith return, both have scored 20-or-more goals four different times in their careers. In net, fan-favorite goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury was traded to Chicago to make way for Robin Lehner to takeover the starting role. The 12-year veteran posted a 13-4-2 mark as backup last season. One of the league’s newest and exquisite venues provides a top-notch premium experience. T-Mobile Arena’s Luxury Suites, located just above the lower bowl, comfortably accommodate parties of up to 24 with a la carte food and beverage. Smaller parties can enjoy a semi-private evening with one of their Opera Boxes and Terrace Tables, along with access to the exclusive Goose Island Club. Get as close to the action as allowed with the Glass Seat Experience while enjoying all-inclusive food and drink while parking in a VIP lot.

After making history by reaching the Stanley Cup Final as an expansion team in 2018, the Knights were dealt a tough blow when a controversial major penalty in the third period of Game 7 of a first round series at San Jose in four Sharks power play goals and an eventual loss in overtime.

Vegas, fueled by that disappointment, are ready to make another deep playoff run in their third season. Veterans brought in last season – Paul Stastny, Max Pacioretty, and Mark Stone – return, along with stalwarts Jonathan Marchessault, William Karlsson, and veteran goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury, who has proven time and time again that he can win in the playoffs.

Enjoy the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas Strip with a premium seating experience at T-Mobile Arena. Luxury suites have a great view – just above the lower bowl. With it, you’ll get premium food and beverage options, a VIP entrance, and parking at the NY-NY Casino garage. If you want to be even closer, opt for the Glass Seat Experience. You’ll sit directly behind the glass, and enjoy all-inclusive food and drink in the Event Level Lounge. Semi-private Opera Box seats, Terrace Tables, and Center Ice club seats are also available and come with a variety of perks.
