Buccaneers Spotlight

Current NFL Season

It appeared that the amazing two-year run of the Tom Brady era in Tampa Bay was going to come to an end after the legendary quarterback announced his retirement shortly after the Buccaneers lost in the Divisional round to the eventual Super Bowl champion Rams. But “the GOAT” had a change of heart and is back with the Bucs. Guard Ali Marpet abruptly retired, but after Brady announced his return, center Ryan Jensen signed a new deal, and wide receiver Chris Godwin eschewed the franchise tag and also re-upped with the team. The other abrupt news coming out of Tampa was the retirement of head coach Bruce Arians, who transitions into the front office, and promotion of defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to the main job.

Past Spotlights

The other abrupt news coming out of Tampa was the retirement of head coach Bruce Arians, who transitions into the front office, and promotion of defensive coordinator Todd Bowles to the main job.

Raymond James Stadium underwent a facelift to its premium seating areas, so come to Tampa and take advantage of the amenities! Eight-, 16-, and 36-person corner suites are available to choose from and come with all the usual perks of a luxury suite and include exclusive gameday experiences featuring Bucs alumni. And don’t discount the climate-controlled comfort, especially those early-season games that can be quite hot and sometimes rainy.

The first year of Tom Brady playing in the pewter and red of Tampa Bay couldn’t have gone any better, as the franchise won their second Super Bowl title in a rout of Kansas City and also became the first team to both play in and win a Super Bowl in their home stadium. The Bucs have returned nearly the entire team from a year ago as they look to repeat. That includes the wide receiver trio of Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Antonio Brown, along with tight end Rob Gronkowski. Leonard Fournette also returns at running back and Giovani Bernard was added for depth. On defense, Ndamukong Suh, Vita Vea, William Gholston, Jason Pierre-Paul, Lavonte David, and Shaquil Barrett all return as that front seven was the best team in the NFL last year at stopping the run. The Bucs are offering some new premium experiences this year at Raymond James Stadium, including the Champions Lounge, which is an air-conditioned lounge inside the stadium’s East Club, offering all-inclusive food and beverages, including a premium bar and craft cocktail station. Luxury suites cover the middle two levels of the stadium and range from eight- to 36-person offerings. They feature an open floor plan with catering options available and TVs playing NFL Sunday Ticket, so you don’t miss a minute of any of the action on gameday.
